About Us
Tribe Dance Center-previously known as, Kate's Dance Company Plus- formally opened its doors in the Fall of 2020. Tribe is a recreational and competitive dance studio with extensive training at all levels/ages. The staff are dedicated to bringing quality dance education to Monson, Ma and fostering the love of dance among children. Tribe is a home for all students, from the serious dancer to students who wish to dance purely for their enjoyment. Step foot in our new state of the art facility, shop our boutique store front and begin to make memories with us!
At Tribe Dance Center we welcome all students, and feel that each dancer can find the proper fit for them within our studio. Our various programs allow each student to find the commitment level that is right for them, while still learning and growing as a dancer. Tribe prides itself on having a qualified faculty that provides excellent training, while creating a family atmosphere.

Jenna Kelley,

Kate Cavanaugh, Assistant Director
Jenna Kelley has been in the dance industry for twenty five years. With numerous regional and national wins, she began her teaching career at the age of 14. She has won countless choreography awards and has choreographed at both the recreation and competitive level. She has completed her Bachelors of Arts in Communication through Worcestor State University and is certified through Acrobatic Arts.
Kate has been a studio owner for 25+ years. She has spent many years on the stage; singing, dancing and acting with the Monson Summer Theater program. She has choreographed many productions such as Grease, 42nd Street and West Side Story to name a few. She has also trained with the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and is certified through the Teachers Training School and Acrobatic Arts.
Graycen Legere
Instructor
Graycen Legere began dancing at the age of 3 and quickly gained an interest in tap and hiphop. She spent years competing locally and nationally winning top awards with her dance team. She then became an assistant teacher in hiphop classes with kids of all ages. She continued her teaching in college at the University of Rhode Island as the hiphop teacher for the universities dance company for 4 years. She loves working with kids and is looking forward to sharing her love and passion for dance with the students. She is proud to be apart of The Tribe Dance Center!
Isabelle Browne
Instructor
Isabelle comes to Tribe from Fort Collins, Colorado. Her extensive ballet training began at a very young age, receiving top placements at YAGP as well as scholarships to continue her training as Pre-Professional Company Member for The Colorado Ballet, Providence Ballet, Rock School for Dance Education, ABT New York & Bolshoi Ballet Academy. Isabelle continues her training as a Company Member of Providence Ballet.
Kaleigh Cavanaugh
Instructor
Kaleigh Cavanaugh is a 20 year old currently enrolled at the University of Rhode Island. She is studying pre-med and is also a member of the URI Dance Team aka "Ramettes." She started her dance journey at the age of 1, and has been choreographing since the age of 13. Kaleigh is a multi regional and national title winner, and was featured on the reality TV show Dance Moms. She has spent many years teaching classes and assisting master teachers in all styles of dance and is very excited to bring all of her training into the Tribe Dance Center.
