PRE- DANCE
Ages 3-4 years old.
A developmental class focusing on child participation and locomotive skills. Students are exposed to different styles of music, movement and classroom participation while introducing skill development with rhythm based activities.
JAZZ
Class teaches the basics of jazz dance technique, terminology and style with the focus of proper technique, alignment and movement quality. Classes include full body warm ups, isolations, strength and flexibility, across-the-floor progressions and choreography combinations.
HIP HOP
A fun class for all levels combining hip hop moves with energetic and upbeat music. Class will be built around teaching rhythm, coordination, musicality while being challenged with high energy and fast paced music.
COMBO
Combo I- Ages 5-6 years old.
A combo class introducing more formal dance techniques within the genres of ballet, jazz & tap. Students will expand on the basic steps and terminology along with the introduction of more skills and techniques while improving their flexibility, coordination, and classroom socialization.
Combo II- Ages 7-8 years old.
A combo class expanding on skills and techniques within the genres of jazz & tap. Students will dive deeper with skills and terminology while challenging their flexibility, coordination and classroom socialization.
TAP
This class emphasizes technique through warm-up, across the floor, tap turns and combinations. Class focus is on coordination, rhythm, weight shift, tap vocabulary, and articulation.
MODERN / PBT
An alternating class between modern dance technique and Progressive Ballet Technique.
PBT: an innovative body conditioning and strength-building program that prioritizes muscle memory development through ballet-specific exercises.
BALLET
The foundation of dance. This technique class is a necessity of all young and aspiring dancers. Beginning classes focusing on classroom etiquette, terminology and body alignment. As students progress, training incorporates precision, focus and discipline. Each class will include barre exercises, center floor work and across-the-floor combinations.
LYRICAL
Lyrical is considered a fusion of ballet and jazz with the expressive movements that strive to tell a story. Lyrical genre is an emotional connection and storytelling brought to life with song lyrics and technique. Classes include full body warm ups, across-the-floor progressions and technique exercises to express emotion through their movement.
