Dancers are placed in our competitive program through an audition process or by invitation based on their skill level, commitment, and dedication. Auditions are held in June, and dancers will be notified of their placement after results are reviewed. Competitive dancers in our program can expect to commit to multiple classes per week, depending on their level and age group. In addition to weekly training, there are rehearsals and competitions throughout the year, competitions occurring on weekends. It’s important to have a strong commitment to both practice and performance schedules to ensure the best possible experience for the team.

Yes, there are additional costs associated with the competitive program, including costume fees, competition entry fees, travel expenses, and company choreography fees. These costs are broken down at the beginning of the season, so there are no surprises. We believe in clear communication and will provide detailed information on all costs when you join.
