Dancers join our Competitive Program through audition or invitation. Our faculty considers each dancer's skill level, work ethic, maturity, commitment and overall readiness when determining placement. Auditions are held annually, with private evaluations available throughout the year when space allows.

Both pathways are part of the Tribe Competitive Program and provide dancers with high-quality training, competitive routines and performance opportunities. Tribe Company is our most comprehensive competitive experience, with a higher weekly training commitment, multiple routines, conventions and additional opportunities throughout the season. Tribe Select offers a more flexible competitive experience with fewer routines and a reduced weekly and financial commitment.

The time commitment varies based on a dancer's age, level, pathway and routine placement. Tribe Company follows our most comprehensive weekly training schedule, while Tribe Select is designed for dancers seeking a reduced weekly commitment. Individual training schedules and requirements are provided with placement information.

In addition to monthly tuition, competitive dancers should expect expenses associated with choreography, costumes, competition entry fees and other season-related opportunities. Costs vary based on pathway and individual routine placement. Families receive detailed financial information before committing to the season.

Routine placements are thoughtfully determined by our faculty based on age, ability, strengths, compatibility, training goals and the overall needs of the team. Group, solo, duo and trio opportunities vary by dancer and are not guaranteed from season to season.

Competitive dancers are expected to demonstrate commitment, consistency, respect, teamwork and a strong work ethic both in and outside of the studio.
